This outfit can be taken from day to night, from errands to a lunch date. Breeze through summer in a silk top and up to date denim shorts. Faded patterned shorts have been seen in every collection this summer and these CURRENT/ELLIOTT’s are no exception. The Sea foam color of this J.Crew blouse will easily play up a tan. A nude heel elongates the leg and adds an unexpected pop to this whole look. Rebecca Minkoff has made THE bag of the summer in every color imaginable. Push a cuff up on your arm, grab your bag, and run out the door. Don’t forget to roll your sleeves up for that extra casual touch.
No outfit is complete without the perfect accessories. I am a huge fun of the aztec trend going on right now. To add of pop of color to your weekend style, add an aztec clutch. My top two choices are below!
I was at Nordstroms the other day and I discovered some super sexy hosiery! These fun, unique tights will definitely spice up your wardrobe. I plan on airing them with a black mini and my highest pumps.

I am a huge fan of the mini skirt. It makes your legs look great and they come in so many fun styles and colors. My new thing is wearing a tight mini skirt with an oversized shirt. It says classy and cool, with a splash of fun! Here are my favorite minis.
I am obsessed with fur!!Of course its faux fur, I love animals too. Seriously though, anything fur I have to have it. Currently I have two fur blankets in my room, a fur purse, and a closet full of fur vests. Here are some of my favorite pieces that are so fun to wear during the day, but especially at night. This cute camel vest by Lucky Brand is so cute with a blouse, black leggings and some wedged boots. Plus its on sale - Go out and get it now!
For a laid back Thursday night with friends & drinks at a local campus bar is a must. With the cold weather still upon us in Chicago chunky sweaters are an easy way to stay on point with fashion and not freeze your butt off!
Fashion tip: wear with flat mid-calf boots and a bold necklace.
For most students, Thursday marks the end of the week and the start of the weekend. I always try to plan out my outfits in advance for the weekend ahead.I decided to share with you all one of my weekend outfits I am planning on wearing to a cocktail party. It’s always a challenge for me to find a weather appropriate dress in the dead of winter. That’s why I knew I had to have this dress from Topshop.
Twist Cut Out Bodycon Bandage Dress,$75,Topshop.com
It was basically love at first sight, what I love about this dress first and for most are the long sleeves. I hate the feeling of wearing tights under my dress, but there is no need for that since this is long sleeve. The second reason I love this dress, is because the material is thick, this is also a plus in the winter. Just one more reason I won’t freeze my butt off! Lastly, I love the bold blue color. Don’t be scared to wear bold colors just because its winter. To top this dress off, I plan to keep it simple with accessories; I don’t want to draw attention away from the simplicity of the dress. If you’re in the market for a budget friendly cocktail dress, I highly recommend this one!
